Glow Player is an interactive artwork that resembles a record player, but instead of using a normal record to make music, it uses a glow-in-the-dark disk that can be drawn on with a user controlled light. When you shine the light on the spinning disk you’ll draw a glowing line that gets turned into sound. As the glow fades, the music does too.

The music is always changing as you interact with it. Forming new melodies depending on how you draw with the light, sounding different every time you use it.

It’s meant to be simple and hands-on, encouraging people to experiment and play. You don’t need to know anything about music to use it, just move the light around and see what happens.
